Things that just make ya, Bloated

Well, well, well. Needless to say I was quite bloated all day and it made me really insecure about going for a run, but I decided say "Ah, to heck with it" and kept on going. I've been slowly inching my way into a vegan diet and it really is doing wonders for me! There are complete days where I don't have to take any insulin at all! OH YEAH! I've started drinking "green smoothies", (mega delish), and they give me such great energy! I bought a Green Smoothie book last night and it will be at my door step this Wednesday, if interested you can buy it on Amazon. 

Recipe for Blueberry Green Smoothie
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup blueberries (I used frozen)
  • 3/4 cup spinach
  • 1/4 cup cold water
Serves one.
How easy is that!? Mix it up in your blender and you are all set to go! Another great thing I've been eating lately are Luna Bars, (I'm a little late to board the Luna Bar train), but they are also delish, and they curb my sweet tooth. Only down fall is I think they might be the reason I'm bloating so badly. :(
